After talking to Brandon I decided to try the complete tug. After only using a few times I think with a little "getting used to" I think it will serve my purpose very well. That being said Brandon was excellent to deal with on the phone  and the product seems to be well built.

I have a Beech Sundowner and even though Minimax is not making the Sierra/Musketeer drive anymore, Brandon was able to fabricate a Custom Fork to fit on the Bare Tug that works great.
He needed exact measurements of the tow lugs (diameter, length, height off the floor and grip distance when the fork was closed). But once we had that, he had the new fork to me within 2 weeks.
I bolted it to the Bare Tug and away I went. It did slip a bit on the smooth concrete floor, but some friction tape fixed that. Once the plane is moving the tug has no trouble going over the 1" high door rails. And the 1.5% grade up to the taxiway is no problem at all. Me and my lower back are happy!

Have wanted to let you know how happy I am with the new transmission.  It seems to have more torque and higher speed which  doesn't make sense but I will take it.  It doesn't strain at all getting the plane in the hangar.
