5 of 5 Works Great! May 6, 2025
Reviewer: Robert Lewis from Northeast, MD United States
Easy airplane to push but after I hurt my shoulder it was difficult to push the a/c back into the hangar. Every time I would push it I would have a set back to the shoulder. The Minimax tug makes small work of it and now I can fly without concern. Assembly and operation are simple. Thank you so much!

4 of 5 Works great but a little heavy April 26, 2025
Reviewer: James LaMonica from Independence, OR United States
Purchased for a Lancair 360. The drill driven tug works great and easily pushes my 1100 pound airplane up a slightly sloping ramp. Build quality is good with an ingenious design.  Only one small complaint is that the tug is heavy making it hard to attach to the nose wheel without getting on my knees and crawling under the cowl.
Would be a much better product if it weighed less.

4 of 5 Great tug--wish it were lighter February 22, 2025
Reviewer: James Gates from Redondo Beach, CA United States
It works great, but I have an airplane low to the ground and attaching it to my nose gear is a bit difficult due to the weight.

5 of 5 Excellent Tug for a Lancair February 7, 2023
Reviewer: William Rumburg from Gold Hill, NC
The connection mechanism is simple and perfect for the Lancair 320, requiring no modification whatsoever. Just pull the locking pin (knob) up and swing the attachment arm open to connect it to the tow plate.
Assemble the tug by pushing the drive shaft up the torque tube just far enough to permit engagement by the drill. Secure it to the drill and then push the drill/drive shaft back into torque tube and tighten the upper clamp to secure the drill. Then push the drive shaft to engage the lower drive. Only takes about ten minutes, once the process is understood.

2 of 5 Quality/Effectiveness February 3, 2021
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Mesa, AZ United States
Poor quality, retaining hole had to be redrilled; heavy; poor on slopes; totally ineffective on wet ramp
