3 of 5 Riser to adapter connection poor August 7, 2025

First, the single huge bolt and nut connecting the Piper adapter to the riser can rotate. Even very tight, when turning the nose wheel that joint can rotate. What might make a more secure joint is a wider flange and two large bolts positioned horizontally.

Perhaps more experience in using the existing configuration will show the issue as user error.

Second, while I did not buy the drive unit, I have had issues with the tubeless tires going flat and losing the bead seal. These required fussing and farting about with ratchet strap trick to reseal the bead and have the tire accept pressure. Perhaps a solid tire rather than a pneumatic tire might be less problematic.

The piper pants adapter came in as ordered. Everything fit as expected. I had also ordered the weights/ hubs. I did not understand the weights were not included in the $89.95 price. I thought maybe the weights would come in a later shipment
When it was apparent the weights weren’t coming I called the contact number and soon after received a call back. When I explained hat I hadn’t received the weights it was explained they could hardly ship the weights and customize milled parts at the $89.95 price.  Of course that makes sense when you think about it. I was very happy with my experience with the company.  I was told I could return the parts I purchase if I wanted.  I will continue to purchase items from this company. I’ve been in retail my whole life. It was apparent this company values their  customers!
