Easy Setup, Easy to use

Very happy with this Minimax for my SR20. More than enough power to move SR20 safely and easily on slight uphill into hangar and over lip at hangar door.

Cirrus Minimax tug

I can't say enough good comments about this company and tug. The tug can be broken down and transported. It is amazing powerful for its size. But the most outstanding aspect is their customer support which is second to none! I highly recommend this product

Beautifully packed. Easy to assemble. Works like a charm, though wheel weights might be a good idea (didn’t purchase them). Highly recommended.

Minimax Tug - SR22
Friday, January 3, 2025
Reviewer: Todd Kinser from Custer, SD United States
I just purchased the Minimax Tug and have been very impressed with its power and maneuverability. It pushes my Cirrus up a small incline and over hangar door rails with relative ease. Still early in my use, but thus far very pleased with it’s performance.

Works great, could use the extra weights when pulling the Cirrus, but overall it’s awesome!!! It’s a have to for me!!! Makes life so easy getting in and out of hanger.

I was skeptical
Tuesday, July 16, 2024
Reviewer: Kenneth McBrayer from Versailles, KY United States
After reading a few negative reviews about the Minimax Tug, I was skeptical of its value and performance. I have previously owned another brand of electric towbar powered with a 20 Volt drill. I purchased the Minimax brand specifically because there are no chains or other moving parts that can damage the nose gear fairing. I have discovered that the Minimax is a robust tug and has performed better than I expected.
I purchased the additional stainless steel T-bolt clamp which I have not needed.
The extension handle is a must have accessory. The tarmac leading into my Hangar has a slight uphill grade and the Minimax tug pushes my SR22 effortlessly even with full fuel on board. The trigger on the Dewalt drill has perfect sensitivity for slowly maneuvering the tug into position.
Purchasing some traction tape for a slippery hangar floor is a must. I do not feel that adding additional weights to the Minimax tug wheels will add value for traction.

Cirrus Minimax
Tuesday, December 6, 2022
Reviewer: William Kinney from Columbia, MO United States
This is my second Minimax for a second hangar. They have improved the design but there are still issues with twisting of the shaft as the ring clamps just can’t handle the torque of the larger drill with bigger battery when turned to the horizontal position. Considering the price of the other tugs for a Cirrus, this is just a minor issue.
