Game changer
Thursday, June 11, 2026
Reviewer: David Jones from WILLISTON, VT United States
My Tiger lives in a hangar shared with a Cessna 152. Getting the Cessna out is easy, getting the Tiger out takes great care but putting it back and pushing it up hill was a bear and not a single person job. The Minimax Tug is a game changer. I can easily answer safely get it moved up hill and over a significant lip at the edge at the hangar entrance (just need to be in motion when I hit it). It makes the job of putting the aircraft away pretty painless. I was concerned I might need the upgraded power model, but the entry level works great!

Great

It made pushing my Grumman Tiger into my hanger that has a bit an incline a total non issue by myself 5/5 Stars! - I had a remote controlled tug in the past but for the price of the minmax, it wins hands down. Does the same job at less than 1/2 the cost.

Good value for a lite-duty Tug
Tuesday, January 6, 2026
Reviewer: Brian White from Lewes, DE United States
Purchased for a flying club whose membership includes pilots having a wide range of ages and physical abilities. If using the tug keeps one member out of the ER, it will have paid for itself.

Very pleased with the tug although it was rather useless sending me the charger as Australia uses 240volt electricity
I had to purchase a new 240 volt charger here for an e tra $249.00. Your prompt service was very much appreciated.

Mini Max

I was pretty happy with my tug although I thought the handle/clamp was very weak. The clamp was so weak I was afraid to tighten anymore for fair of stripping the tiny nut so the handle which was flimsy to start with would spin. The drill and drive shaft kept pulling out. I got rid of the handle and clamp and bought a 2" muffler clamp off Amazon which I was able to tighten much more. I haven't had sufficient time to anylize to see how this will work but I know I was able to crank down on that clamp!

Sure Beats doing it but hand
Thursday, July 18, 2024
Reviewer: Robert Pearson from ID United States
I am 73 and it beats trying to manhandle my plane by hand. I am still trying to get used to it, it is a little more difficult to put the plane into my T hangar than I thought. It is very easy getting it out.
