Works great Tuesday, September 23, 2025 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Edina, MN United States   This is all I need for a DA40.  My hangar floor is smooth, outside is concrete.  I have to pull a little to get it going on the hangar floor, but it's a small fraction of the effort required using a hand tow bar.  At first I was a little annoyed that I had to assemble it, but now I'm glad that I have a better understanding of how things work.  Parts and service are available from Indiana if needed.  The east mover attachment required some simple  adjustment (use 2 screws rather than 4 and move the wheels up a little) because it kept the weight off the main tires.  I haven't tried it in the MN snow and ice yet.  So far I'm a big fan. Nice little tug. Fast response to minor issue. Tuesday, June 16, 2020 Reviewer: MPB from DAMMERON VALLEY, UT United States   Like the tug. When I bought the airplane, the owner threw in his very cumbersome, bulky tug. Functional but hard to use. The DA40 has a non caste ring nose wheel and it’s tougher to push straight back than my old 172. The shipment was missing the hardware pack, so I left a message on a Sunday and got a same day response. They shipped it out on Monday. Assembly was pretty easy, even with a broken collarbone. Tug is pretty light and easy to use. . I did not get the wheel weights but it works just fine without them Was this review helpful to you?

DA-40 tug_ Total time used less then 10 hours Thursday, July 11, 2019 Reviewer: Peter Kwan from Markham, ON Canada   They sold me a discontinued product without any disclosure. Two weeks after my order of the Tugs they launched a modified new transmission tugs while I am still waiting for my Tugs to come. If the company could be more thoughtful to the clients they could have advised me and I would have wait and make the purchase after the new transmission is finished. Diamond DA40/50 Tug Monday, September 5, 2016 Reviewer: Danny Ellis from Pocahontas, AR United States   I recently had some problems with the transmission on my 3 year old tug that was covered by the lifetime warranty. Great product Thursday, June 6, 2013 Reviewer: Vincent R from OK   can't believe the power! Get out of the way. My castering nose wheel makes it kind of hard to steer in a turn. Awesome! Thursday, June 6, 2013 Reviewer: Bruce J. from Henderson, Ky.   I have to cross four 1/4" thick by 1" high steel door tracks spaced 6" apart. This bad boy crossed them at 90 degrees full of fuel! Had to use speed 1 on the drill as 2 and 3 just stopped. Their designer told me that was the nature of liIon batteries when too much load was demanded. Has not happened in speed 1 which is plenty fast anyway. Speed 2 and 3 work fine on the ramp. Only complaint is that it is soimewhat hard to steer with this castering nosegear. Was this review helpful to you?
