Tug for piper Cherokee 6 April 23, 2024 Reviewer: BEN BRAMPTON from Everon Hills, Queensland Australia   The product supplied does not have the weight to pull a Cherokee 6. The tug wheels spin. Plenty of torque - no issues there. Tried putting lots of weight on the wheels to force traction , which JUST manages to pull the Cherokee6. If I’d known it was going work so poorly I would not have bought this tug. Sorry - but I really wouldn’t recommend this solution.<br><br> Minimax Team - I wish you wouldve reached out about the issue you are having.  We have sold many of these for the Cherokee Six with great feedback.  The Cherokee Six is a heavy aircraft.  It does require the operator to apply downforce to the handle tube.  The tug is all steel construction and designed for this. MiniMax Tow Piper Archer December 5, 2023 Reviewer: James Quinn from Canton, MA United States   1.  Product arrived sooner than expected. 2.  Online instruction video was helpful, but left a couple of questions.  The use of some close-ups on the video would be helpful. 3.  It was not especially clear whether I needed the Tow Plate. 4.  $200 savings from list price was helpful. 5.  I have only used it once and wheels spun a little while moving the plane over a very small rise going into the hangar.   6.  It can be a little difficult to maneuver the tow up to the airplane.  The optional Speedy Mover would eleviate that issue. Great tug for Archer II with wheel pants April 14, 2023 Reviewer: Niely from SIOUX CITY, IA United States   Have a small lip going into my hangar as well as a 3 degree or so incline of the slab going up to the door, making it a good workout to push the Archer in by hand, especially in the winter when things are cold and stiff.. Purchased the Minimax tug, for Piper with wheel pants, and it works very well. It’s a breeze to pull the plane out and push it back in. Got the 60V Dewalt drill kit. Plenty of power and easy to secure to plane and detach. I am very glad I pulled the trigger and bought this instead of pulling my back! Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?

Its the perfect little tug August 6, 2022 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Culver, IN United States   When I started doing research on what tug to buy for my Cherokee 180, everyone kept telling me to look into the Minimax Tug because It’s the perfect little tug.  Well, I bought one.  Yes it’s little but it packs a big punch.  I’m completely satisfied with the product.  It does exactly what I need it to do.  It’s a really well thought out design coupled with high quality parts.  100 percent satisfied. minimax tug review March 1, 2022 Reviewer: steve johnson from 1B9   i have two aircraft closely positioned in my hangar.  moving them breathtakingly close to each other by hand was scary.  my friend nearby has a minimax; so, i borrowed it for a few trials.  i became convinced.  purchased the "heavy duty" version and love it!  i can focus on the maneuvering without the strain of pushing or pulling the aircraft in the hanger.   worth the price in peace of mind as well as vastly improved capability . Minimax Piper Wheel Pants Tug September 1, 2021 Reviewer: David Reynolds from Logansville, GA United States   Very happy with the tug. The only issues I had was in the assembly - hard to get the link between the drill and transmission properly seated because the foam centering plug wasn’t centered - mage a cardboard piece. And the video instruction wasn’t for the Piper tug - mounted the bracket backwards the first time. It works really well and was very cost efficient. Was this review helpful to you?
