The Drill Tug worked fantastic in moving my 172 around.  I have to push it up a slight hill backward and it has no problem moving it right along.

5 of 5 Awesome! April 20, 2023
Reviewer: Paul Weinheimer from Amarillo, TX United States
Does the job nicely. Apply some light down pressure and works like a charm. I’ve got a gradual incline of 1in of rise per 12in and the 20V is plenty. I can’t push it up my slope on my own and this device is just the extra I was looking for!

5 of 5 A great solution to our back breaking problem! July 8, 2022
Reviewer: Kathryn Reid from North Vancouver, BC Canada
We are a flying club with a hangar for our airplane that was impossible for one person to push the plane back in.  It has a small lip at the doors and is a little uphill.  With the Minimax tug, getting it in solo is a breeze.  We are very happy with this purchase.   It takes a little practise to manoeuvre smoothly but the learning curve is shallow and member orientation is quick.

Easy assembly. Handles the slope into my hangar with no trouble. Could not be happier with my purchase.

4 of 5 Mini Tug August 10, 2021
Reviewer: Monte West from Montgomery , TX United States
I was surprised that the tug is able to pull my C-117B without too much effort, my hanger slops slightly downhill and has a wide door track, I was concerned about it having enough power to pull it out and across the door track, to my great relief the tug is able, with a little downward pressure to keep the tires from spinning. The tug also can hold the plane until the chocks and brakes are set.

4 of 5 Straight forward assembly, easy to use - mostly June 19, 2020
Reviewer: Craig Cady from New Braunfels, TX United States
Assembly instructions could be a bit clearer, but eventually you get the idea and assembly goes reasonably quickly.  I enjoy using this product with one minor exception - the latching and unlatching process requires balancing the tug to avoid the arms hitting the bottom cowling, grasping the far side arm and pulling while pushing the locking side in order the engage the latch.  It works and the more you do it the quicker it goes.  A different type of latching system would be preferable - perhaps a scissor style device with a spinning mechanism to close the arms.  The battery lasts a while and I have moved the plane all over the ramp, in/out of a hangar with plenty of charge remaining.  It does push far more readily than it pulls.  You absolutely must start the aircraft moving on level 1 and only the smallest amount of trigger squeeze.  Once rolling you can speed it up.  It is a fair value for the money.
