5 of 5 Best tug for a Piper May 8, 2020
Reviewer: Gary Schenk from Chino, CA United States
This Minimax tug is by far the best one available for piper's with wheel pants.  My Cherokee 6 is not a light place and this tug provides all of the power and versatility you will need.  In fact, a friend of mine purchased a competitor's $4,000 tug for his Piper Cherokee 6 and was very disappointed with its performance and handling. After I discussed the ease of the Minimax, he purchased one and couldn't believe how much better it was than his previously purchased one.  But the way, he is returning the competitors tug, since he is so impressed with this one.
This is a must buy for anyone looking for a reasonably priced tug with unbelievable performance and ease of use.

5 of 5 That Was Easy!! June 21, 2015
Reviewer: Chris Hayden from Cape Elizabeth, Maine
Pipers are a pain to move with the supplied tow bar. I have a slight uphill slope and a tight fit which has required two people to put my plane back in the hangar. Now with my Minimax, I can do it alone and with ease. It is an amazing little machine.

5 of 5 Very good tug, affordable, great customer service October 28, 2014
Reviewer: Chris DeYoung from Tucson, AZ United States
I'm very happy with this tug, and recommend it without reservation. My Cherokee-235 holds 84 gallons of fuel, and when it's full it's heavy enough to make pushing it up the slight incline into my hangar by myself a bit dicey, and this tug is a perfect and affordable solution (and it works every bit as well as I hoped). The other tug I was looking at cost twice as much and was twice as heavy.

One cautionary note - DO NOT let the tires get low. If you do the tire will slip on the rim when under load, damaging the valve stem and causing the tire to go completely flat and stay that way. To be fair, the instructions do say very clearly it is important to keep the tire pressure up, so this was entirely my own fault. Customer service was excellent throughout while getting it fixed. They even sent me an extra set of bolts in case I hadn't kept track of the originals (I had, but it's a nice touch).

All in all, I can recommend both the product and the company without reservation.

5 of 5 Easy to Assemble and Operate July 8, 2013
Reviewer: Howard Williams from Cypress, TX United States
The product comes in two boxes and takes about 30-45 minutes to assemble.  I purchased the corded drill version and it tows my Archer in and out of the hanger, which has a 6" incline, with ease.  Don't forget the bolt on the bottom shaft just below the clamp.  This prevents the drill from torqueing the drill and shaft.  Great product and great customer service.

Talk about easy to operate. Pull on the knob, position tug, let go of knob, tow plane.
