In actual operation, the MiniMax tug works as advertised. However, it is not entirely user-friendly. I needed a tug to move my airplane at remote airports. This requires separating the tug head from the tug handle using a 10mm wrench (not included) to loosen the stainless steel compression clamp that holds the parts together. This would be much easier if an adjustable single-lever compression clamp (think bicycle seat post) was provided.  To re-assemble the tug, you must insert the tug handle into the tug head while trying to align the drive shaft connections inside each.  There is no bushing or guide to align the drive shaft so it usually takes a few tries to get the parts together. Then, you have to hold everything in proper alignment while wrenching tight the compression clamp. Doing this takes time and, because the tug weighs 25 lbs, some effort. The tug is beautifully designed and well-made. For the price, the MiniMax people should address these shortcomings.

tug works on flat ground and slight incline well.  I have to push my plane from the asphalt to the concrete across a 1" concrete lip.  The tug will not push it accross this lip.  I found that I have to get a good rolling start as fast as the tug will go and angle the plane so only one wheel at a time crosses the concrete lip.  It works, But not ideal.
