This tug DOES NOT fit fixed gear Saratoga. Fixed gear Saratoga require "Piper Wheel-Pants Tug".
Lance and Saratoga require purchase of Dewalt 60V power system in the "Product Options" above


This tug ships with a 20V Dewalt power system. If you want more power, the Dewalt 20V power system must be purchased as an option.

If you have a smooth concrete or epoxy painted hangar floor, we recommend buying our Traction Tape or Wheel Weight Hubs option to prevent tire slippage.

If you are purchasing Wheel Weight Hubs you must click HERE to purchase 2 - 25 lb. cast iron weights.
The wheel weight hubs are only the hubs and do not come with the weights themselves. The weights ship for free from the vendor in the link.

It doesn't turn as easy as in the video. I have to stop it and lift it to pivot it in order to turn the plane. other than that.....saving my back!

Generally the assembly instructions were clear. No problem assembling it. Operating instructions could be better:
1. Tighten the tug swivel bolt so that when the tug is on the aircraft nosewheel, the lever/pin line up and engage.
2. When turning the nosewheel, the tug must be lifted off the ground because there is no drive wheel differential.
